This time of year I have to get outside and escape all this Winter melancholia.
I find a poignant beauty in our shore points. This 2 mile promenade is mostly deserted, all shops closed except an arcade and a candy store. A good way to get some fresh air.
Enjoy!
Brian in NJ
Beautiful shots of a seasonal ghost town, Brian. I can appreciate the sense of breezy calm and fresh air the pics convey. I prefer our seaside towns when the holiday makers are out of town and serenity prevails for a few months :)
ReplyDeleteAugust is another good time of year to visit. There are less crowds than in July and the nights are a little cooler. That's when I like to go and maybe get a slice of pizza or an ice cream cone.If I take a date with me,then we might go on the rides or possibly see a band or dance at the music pier.
ReplyDeleteIt does look atmospheric in Winter on the shore Brian. Reminds me of that pier that Tom Hanks walks down and gets his fortune read in BIG! Sounds like a great place for a date too.
