Jupiter Takes One for the Team

A large asteroid or meteor struck Jupiter on Monday, an incident which was captured on video by amateur astronomer George Hall. The brief impact was automatically captured by his trusty telescope.

Jupiters massive gravitational field effectively 'hoovers up' stray asteroids, comets and meteors, drawing them into its gaseous bulk. In 1994 the comet Shoemaker-Levy broke into 20 pieces before pelting the face of Jupiter, leaving scars the size of the Pacific Ocean on the surface.

Satellite Sci Fi

If you haven't got cable or satellite TV, like I haven't, then there's very slim pickings on the box when it comes to Sci Fi in the UK. OK there's re-runs of Red Dwarf and Stargate but that's about it. Am I missing out? What's your experience of Sci Fi on Cable, Sky or Satellite TV? Any good?

KELLOGS SPACE AGE: ANOTHER BOWL

Last month I spotted these on Ebay, box sides from vintage Kellogs packets showing the SPACE AGE plastic premium fleet, which includes a miniature version of our chum, the SpaceX MOLAB. I've seen the yellow panel before but the two structure sheets - Moon Craters and Computer Centre - are new to me. Has anyone got these?
