We're now back home from our Yorkshire Dales break and missing the beautiful landscape already.
Having not bought a an old toy for nearly a week I was desperate, so when I found something like in a charity shop in Leyburn I bought anything!
I was really pleased to be honest, as I love knockoff Action Man figures and there was one just waiting for me! Its the Combat Soldier Fighting Man by Padgett Brothers; so cheap the rifle isn't big enough and his pants are half-mast but I love this little fella!
Does anyone know it?
A particularly rubbery head.
I also picked up an Alice in Wonderland film cell, although I don't recognise the picture. Who's that with Alice?
and to finish I got an Avon Cosmetics Zoo Animal snail hole punch but I don't know why.
I also saw these goodies in an antique shop window, but it was closed. See anything you like?
Some kits in there too.
Woodsy, I'm droolin' over that T. Cohn (aka Superior) service station! What a beauty. The Action Man was a good find as well.
ReplyDeleteIm drooling too Ed!
DeleteFab find with the soldier, Woodsy. I had many cheap toys like this as a kid, and still love 'em.
ReplyDeleteCheers Tone, it was a lucky find.
DeleteThink that's the Mad Hatter with an Unbirthday Cake on his head Bill
ReplyDeleteReally, thanks Bill!
DeleteEverything in the window, please.
ReplyDeleteI like the Dinky MGB GTs.
DeleteThat tin servo is sweet!
ReplyDeleteI just saw Mad Max Furiosa yesterday. Those cars and trucks would make great die cast models!
Did you enjoy Fuuriosa Looey?
