Hi Woodsy.
Here is my Kaiju Room!
In its current state not too messy, but getting tricky to navigate in. Other Monster Base denizens are stored in totes, residing in the attic or spare bedroom closets. I rather enjoy my house and don't want to move, but I'd love to have these obscured toys on display also. My future plan is an out-building on my property, possible a pole barn, to keep my overspill.
Wow, very impressive. Also a bit scary, with all those monsters - I hope that are not too hungry.
ReplyDeleteThey're all well behaved
DeleteHoly cow! You should label that room "All Monsters Attack!" A kaiju fan's dream! I'll be right over! SFZ
ReplyDeleteI call it "Vinyl Valhalla"
DeleteYou're certainly the King of Kaiju. Fantastic room, Brian!
ReplyDeleteHappy to share ,Tony
DeleteWow! That puts my wife's Kaiju collection to shame! Although she does have a Shogun Warriors Godzilla! Is yours Mattel or the original Popy?
ReplyDeleteI have both.
ReplyDeleteThe Popy Jumbosaur is on the left side of the shelf, behind the Dor Mei Generic Godzilla. You can just barely see his distinctive snout sticking out.
ReplyDeleteOh,yeah, and don't worry.Theres no shame in ANY Kaiju collection.Theyre ALL great!
DeleteThat brown chair amidst the monsters is just fantastic Brian and positioned perfectly to watch TV! Yes! Is that an analogue TV set?
ReplyDeleteYep,and I have an old VCR for old- timey monster movies. Also, you might have spotted my Atari 2600 and Colecovision, still working after all these years!
DeleteI wish you were my neighbour Brian!
DeleteWe would have a blast,I'm sure
DeleteTotally cool Brian! When we were much younger, I told my niece a bedtime story about how dolls came to life at night and had parties and stuff. She told me many years later she would think of that at night and it sometimes made her scared! I can imagine all those monsters coming to life at night in a similar fashion LOL

DeleteI have a feeling these critters are protective of me...
DeleteIt reminds me of Forry's Acker-mansion Brian!
ReplyDeleteWell, the rest of the house is monster/ toy - free, much to my girlfriend's relief! So, it's more like the Acker-Room?
