Remember this Pizza Hut cup lid from the early 90's. I had them all back then. Our daughter was 9 back then so we ate a lot of Pizza and Ice Cream from the Factory!

The little Rolls above isn't one I had. From Yujin, a Japanese make that released gorgeous miniature gumball-style Thunderbirds toys. Other companies did the same. Have you got any?

ReplyDeleteYes Derek Meddings. Absolute genius. During Thunderbirds his assistant Mike Trim designed a few of the secondary vehicles such as the air display jet that has another jet fighter land on top of it in the episode 'The Duchess Assignment' and the Hood's helicopter in the movie 'Thunderbirds are Go' as Derek was incredibly busy. By the time Captain Scarlet came along Derek designed Cloudbase, the Angel aircraft and the SPV but the SPC, MSV, SPJ and most of all the other vehicles were designed by Mike. When Joe 90 was being made they were also working on Thunderbird 6 and Journey to the far side of the Sun. Amazing designs, brilliant model makers and FX teams.
