I had the 1/72nd scale X-24A and X-24B two pack set from Mach 2 about 20 years ago. Blimey they were really awful injection plastic and badly moulded too. Parts didn't fit properly and the transparent parts were thick and fogged up. Mach 2 had a poor reputation but made models of subjects no-one else made. As for resin kits I've only ever made one. It weighed a ton and needed holes drilled into the fuselage and wings and metal rods inserted to hold them on. I was petrified I'd drop it and it would smash to pieces so never bought another. Always wanted an HL-10 as I loved the Six Million Dollar man as a kid, even though it's an HL-10 launch and an M2-F2 crashing. There was a later episode where they rebuilt the HL-10 and you get some really good shots of it there.
Fab memories Yorkie, I'm just catching up after a long Xmas break! Do you still have your Mach 2's? I will have to check out that episode of SMDM for the HL-10 rebuild and post it on MC. Cheers!
