These are truly stunning models, beautiful renditions of iconic Century 21 designs. As others have said, I honestly wouldn’t even know where to begin, starting from scratch. (I can barely toss together a kit from a box!) You are an artist, pure and simple. SFZ
Excellent model builds Kevin....your photography and settings are also excellent....I really like your detail on these miniatures....a lot of careful thought has gone into these...impressive work...Richard Dixon TPD STUDIOS UK .
Thanks. Nothing so fancy. 3d printing is an alien thing to me. Don't vac-form either. All details are scratchbuilt (though I think I got a set of detail parts in resin for the mobile).
Beautiful work, and beautiful settings. Well done.
ReplyDeleteThanks, much appreciated.
ReplyDeleteAmazing Kev. Really. Don't know how you do it!
ReplyDeleteThanks. I usually don't know how I'm going to do them either, I make it up as I go along!
ReplyDeleteeasily studio grade work Kev, brilliant! Bill
ReplyDeleteThank you, most kind!
ReplyDeleteVery good work Kevin.
ReplyDeleteHow big are they ? What sort of scales ?
Thanks. The mobile is studio scale. Skydiver is about 3 foot long and the Lunar module is about 12 inches.

ReplyDeleteThank you, good of you to say so.
DeleteGosh, big models indeed, especially Skydiver.
ReplyDeleteWhere do you keep them ?
I've got the second bedroom set up as a model display room. They are on display there.
ReplyDeleteAwesome builds, are the larger parts wooden framed with vac formed panels and 3d printed on the smaller details?

DeleteSuperb!
ReplyDeleteCheers!
ReplyDeleteAmazing constructions, beautifully photographed. Museum quality, Kevin.
ReplyDeleteThank you, nice of you to say so.
ReplyDeleteLovely weathering on that Mobile! The folks that put out those die cast Mobiles and SPVs could have learnt a thing or two from your restraint!
ReplyDeleteThank you. Yep, know what you mean, those mobiles had a leopard look to them!
ReplyDeleteCentury 21 will be ringing you for sure Kev!
