Here's some images from my work with the Action Man Toy range....I worked with Hasbro Toys , Marvel Comics UK , Panini Comics , Pedigree Books , Gemma Cards on this range of toys over an eight year contract starting in 1987....a selection of images coming over to you...hope your followers enjoy these....
The work for Action Man covered advertising photography , Marvel Comics and Panini Comics monthly comics , Gemma Cards Action Man Greetings cards.....and the Action Man Annuals with Pedigree Books . A series of fifteen photo story adventures of Action Man were also produced and designed by myself......for the Summer and Winter Special Editions of the Action Man Comic .
The sets and photography for this range were created at my north west Lancashire Studio and followed on from my previous work with Hasbro on the Action Force and GI Joe Toy Ranges which were sold here and across Europe .

ReplyDeleteWow! That brings back memories! My childhood Action Man was the Palitoy original, but I remember seeing these packages in ToysRUs back when it was still a thing here in Australia. Somehow I've never outgrown the allure of toys in boxes and your work has been a part of that!
