I've got all arty with my seaside photos here in the Yorkshire Wolds. Going for a painted sort of look I give you ....
Lady Swimmers
Sea Anglers
We're off to Bridlington today so more sand, a horror novel read in a cafe and hopefully charity shops stuffed with old Dinky's!
What are you up to readers?
Thought I recognised Bridlington. Had many happy day trips. Good luck with all the rain today. If you get the chance to read this check out Croppers Model shop in Lansdowne Rd just a few streets down from the main shopping area. They have some vintage kits. They used to have a proper old fashioned toy shop but that's sadly gone now.
ReplyDeleteSome of us have to work, you complete lightweight! I do love a good English seaside though, especially one with those odd wooden and iron markers and signs out in the tides. Bill
ReplyDeleteIf you get to Scarborough, there are a couple of interesting "junk" shops there, one or two at the base of the Grand Hotel.
ReplyDeleteOne more day of work, before the Easter break. Then it will be a quiet and peaceful four days of modelling and writing - and chocolate Easter Eggs (although no dinosaurs).
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your seaside break.
That's living the life Woodsy! LoL!!!
ReplyDeleteThese scenes are lovely, they look like vintage colored postcards!
