This is a new one on me, Havoc.
She's a super agent action figure from Model Toy Ltd.
This accessory set I saw on auction is called Surprise from the Skies. It looks like a bit of bubble wrap with a weapon, boots and a helmet!
I love the artwork storyline on the card back. Very Modesty Blaise, it could be straight out of TV21!
Made in Hong Kong.
Have you some Havoc in your life?
Havoc is the secret agent version of Mary Quant Daisy doll by Model Toys Ltd. (later Optimum) - and a very cool gal with jumpsuit and green eyeshadow!
ReplyDeleteGot one loose Havoc doll plus a couple of MOC accessory sets (Jungle Mission, Mystery at the Ranch). Quite elusive, befitting such a secret operator!

Could be wrong, but the comic artwork looks like that of Countdown and TV Action artist John M Burns.
ReplyDeleteHe was responsible for drawing the Countdown story strip as well as UFO and Space 1999 in Look in, I think.
Yes - deffo John Burns, I always loved his killer whale like Beetle rockets in Countdown. He did a great stint on Nikolai Dante strip in 2000 Ad too. I was watching Great British Menu on tv last night and there was artist Frank Quitely as a guest scottish judge!
Deletethe 'bubble wrap' is the plastic blister. The bubbles are designed to keep the clothes elements flat in the package without resorting to interior ties Bill
ReplyDeleteThanks for info on John Burns guys, insightful. It must have been dear to commission him. And as for the bubble wrap explanation Bill that must be unique. I've never seen it before.
