Re. Superthunderstingcar, look at these Aussie attempts too...
Also possibly blogworthy, I've finally finished my Spy Hat Adventures. Here are Mike Hazard and Jane Apollo in their final display box fully accessorized with a childhood tin toy vehicle beneath them!
The blue cabinet is a personal reference to Fantasia Toy Shop in Richmond where I first saw Mike Hazard in the window! Now he's behind glass again, but he's also mine all mine!
Very difficult to take pictures through closed glass!
Big container from Blighty to Oz!

ReplyDeleteNow that's an impressive display. Nice work.

ReplyDeleteI was quite pleased when I finally got a reasonably complete Mike Hazard figure on eBay from the UK. He came with a decent coat ( no belt) bullet proof vest, exploding suitcase, gun and false beard and glasses. Strangely the seller was also listing Mike's trademark trilby hat as a seperate offer for a few Pounds, but he wanted £25 postage and couldn't combine orders!
ReplyDeleteI looked long and hard for a substitute to no avail. So after much mucking about, I 3D modelled and printed a replacement, but it took me quite a few goes to get it right!
Your dedication has paid off, Mike Hazard looks ready for his next mission.
ReplyDeleteJane's going to have a realbad day if she insists on going EVA without gloves!
ReplyDeleteJane will simply 3D print gloves once she's in the capsule!
