Hi,
The Hot Wheels 1966 TV Batmobile first appeared in 2007. Since then it has been re-issued numerous times, in a range of colour schemes, including various types of black.
However, this 2022 model from the five-vehicle Batman sub-series is a little more colourful. Gold paint, with a black base, silver-grey plastic interior (the moulding includes the three pipes behind the cockpit and the rear parachute packs), and purple-tinted windscreens. The trim is also purple, with black and white bat emblems on the doors.
The card refers to the car simply as the TV Series Batmobile, while the logos at the top of the card are for DC comics, and Batman - Classic TV Series.
A very eye-catching model.

A surprisingly pleasant combo! I now want to see one with clear fluoro green windshields to match that 60s tin toy version.
ReplyDeleteOf course, as a kid I would have hated this colour scheme. Like the Dinky UFO toys, it's just WRONG!
It is a great combo I agree Looey. Those purple wind shields are a nod towards the Joker though. I wonder if J had a hand in this palette!
ReplyDeleteBatmobile in Gold is not bad, not bad at all...
ReplyDeleteI've now seen a Hot Wheels gold Batmobile with gold wheel rims, so the variations keep coming....
ReplyDeleteThey sure do Kittenpurse!
