A few snaps of some of the stock carried by a local antiques emporium we visited yesterday in Wakefield.
Among the knights helmets and old lamps there were quite a few vintage toys.
I picked up 4 loose Hasbro GI Joes for £4. They're off to the cabinet.
See anything you fancy readers?
Wow. What a great selection of die-casts. You would only see that sort of thing at a specialist fair in NZ, not a regular shop. Glad you found something for your G.I. Joe collection.
ReplyDeleteThere were die-casts everywhere Paul, a fabulous shop full of cabinets for different sellers. Hence the name Emporium. There's a few round here.
DeleteThat's a cool shop! and the few tags that can be read in the pics show more or less reasonable prices.
ReplyDeleteYes Gog, its a great place. I don't get there often but I was pleased to get 4 loose Joes for £4. All from the 80's. I won't see another one anywhere for months now I bet!
Deletea good selection of star wars items for junior
ReplyDeleteYes, quite pricey tho. Vintage Star Wars figures they had started at £3.
DeleteOh, I'll take that FAB tin toy train set please!
ReplyDeleteLooked good Zigg. I didn't see the price on that one.
DeleteOne Falcon looks more like a base…with the ladder
ReplyDeleteYes, its a stumpy Falcon. Must be from a pre-school or infant line of modern Star Wars toys.
DeleteLooks like the flying sub is coming:
