Further meanderings in Pontefract this morning lead us to these Charity Shop items, which I photographed for your delectation.
Anything you like?
Near mint vintage annuals £5 each. Never seen the oversized Black Hole book before. Have you?
Fisher Price Family A Frame house with accessories £15. Beautiful.
PG Tips boxed dinosaurs £4 each. All new to me these beasties. You?
Large boxed figures. Final Fantasy £20 and Star Wars £30. Too dear for me that. This is Yorkshire!
What would you have got?
I would have pounced on that Matchbox Annual. Only two were published. PG Tips Tea dinosaurs - we never got things like that in NZ. British charity shops are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteAgreed! Matchbox Annuals are so rare, I never knew they existed!
DeletePontefract…sounds like a good planet for Doctor Who.
ReplyDeleteIt means broken bridge. Ponte - Fract. I hope the Doctor likes Haribo.
DeleteBlack Hole annual for me! I must be the only person on the planet that loves the film!
ReplyDeleteI there's quite a few fans around. 5 pounds was too much for me to pay.
