Hi
I just found this on You Tube, a 1960s vintage Ideal Toys and ITC kits sales film. It states that they were sponsoring the Maverick TV show, and using it to promote their toys and kits. The ads are included in the film. Jaw dropping and mouth watering. Given the fact all the toys work, I can not imagine many would survive today intact.
What do you think?

That is one amazing film! I remember none of those commercials myself, but just imagine a world where plastic model kits were advertised on network TV! The toy-models that ITC sold, the Enterprise, Diving Sub, Antique Mercer and Battling Betsy tank, were definitely an influence on Japanese model makers, as so many of the first wave of the Japanese Sci-Fi vehicles were motorized with "action features." Also, that road racing set was very unusual, in that it didn't come with road pieces, but actual track, like a toy train! Wonder how popular that was? Anyways, what a great world it was back then!
