Cheered me up too Kev! And I've got to go back to School! I was thinking about rotation of your box and saw this. Alas its in China but maybe its here in the UK somewhere? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Creative-Pink-Round-Rotating-Music-Box-Base-for-Kid-DIY-Modelling-Craft-Toy/152749600714?hash=item239095efca:g:iGYAAOSws~pb5M27
Thanks. I didn't do a build diary or plans really. There is fair degree of symmetry though, so it's not to hard to work out. I used plasticard and coloured vinyl for a lot of it.
Very, very nice. Beautifully finished. First class, as always.
ReplyDeleteThanks, most kind, much appreciated.
ReplyDeleteThats amazing Kev, god that takes me back. You really should share these with the BBC. Stunning work
DeleteThanks, it hit me with nostalgia as I looked through the camera.
DeleteLooks great Kevin.
ReplyDeleteCant wait to see it turning !
Mish.
Thanks, I nearly bought one of those battery powered turntables that jewellers shops use to make it turn, but then didn't bother!
DeleteThat's really great- an attractive image in these difficult times!
ReplyDeleteThanks, it cheered me up!

ReplyDeleteOh yeah, that would've been ideal! Good luck with school.
DeleteAn iconic piece of childhood memory, Kevin. What a fitting display stand for you superb figures :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, yep, a bit of nostalgic fun.
ReplyDeleteLooks brilliant, you should sell them. Probably a market for those.
ReplyDeleteI would buy one!
ReplyDeleteKev, this looks fantastic. Did you ever publish a build diary for this or any type of plans. I’d love to try to replicate your work. Thanks Stephen.
