Hi Woodsy
I have just come across a wonderful James Bond Aston Martin DB5 on You Tube.
It is a short clip, 2:56, showing a boxed model in action. According to the box it is called the Multi Action 711 Aston-Martin Secret Ejector Car. It is metal, with a friction motor, and is Made in Japan. It has the word United on a globe, and the Item No.51262. The box is great, and is shown in detail. The features are listed on the side of the box, and illustrated on the end:
Bullet-proof shield raises and lowers
Retractable machine guns fire automatically
Crash bumpers extend and retract
Secret push button ejects enemy
The proud owner is wearing white gloves, as he shows it off ! The model is pristine. It has 711 number plates front and rear. The solid wheel hubs have moulded wire-spoke detail. Basically, it looks like a scaled-up Corgi model. I love it. No mention of James Bond, but the clip is backed by a couple of Bond themes.
Thought this would be of interest, if you have not featured it before.
