A couple of years ago we featured this shiny Spanish version of the Moon Explorer by JP.
JP released shiny versions of the bigger LP vehicles.
JP released shiny versions of the bigger LP vehicles.
Well, there are more fab shiny Spanish space toys it turns out.
Toy firm Vilpa were great at it.
Here's the red Ovni Hucha,
and the silver and blue/red Hucha Espacial. I think its a money box too.
I love these Vilpa toys and the boxes. They're like redline Hot Wheels spaceships!
There's a hint of JR21 and the X-series of toys about them.
Do you like them?
I like the mercury like capsule. Weren't there shiny Thunderbirds too?
ReplyDeleteHmm. Now you mention it Kev I have seen a silver TB2. I think its by Comansi. I shall have a butchers.
DeleteThe blue and silver one sitting on its box looks like a thermos flask, with its drinking cup on top. Exactly the same shape.
ReplyDeleteI agree Paul. I say its a money box because the kid on the box art seems to be putting a coin in. I shall google Vilpa again.
DeleteI love that saucer
ReplyDeleteMe too! Its very JR21 too!
DeleteSorry, I had not noticed that the astronaut was putting a coin in to a slot on the top, I was just going by the shape. Thanks for the detail.
