A couple of snaps of my bedroom bookcase: hardbacks and VHS tapes!
Project SWORD, vintage toys, VHS covers and mountain flowers! Just a fraction of my books. Most are in the attic!
The tapes are a hangover from my toy fair stall. All Gerry Anderson. I've lots more too. Probably completely uninteresting to collectors these days, VHS was once THE way to re-watch forgotten TV. I've only watched the Thunderbirds and UFO tapes as I never saw Space 1999 when I was young and have no real connection to it sadly. Finding the tapes at car boot sales was fun though and I would gather up anything and everything Gerry Anderson in the 90's.
Do you have any old tapes still?
Still collecting them Woodsy, the most recent find being a rare VHS issue of Andrei Tarkovsky's The Mirror (Zerkalo, 1975)

Collecting VHS is alive and well in Finland, aided by this searchable FIx Gallery database of more than 14.000 titles. Some Gerry Andersons there too, all rare!
Amazing Arto! Great job getting the Mirror. I love VHS collecting and collections. That FIX gallery is just fabulous and I've checked a lot pf the sections like Amicus and Video DPP 72. Its fascinating that the DPP is even of interest to Finish collectors! I'd like to do a VHS covers book one day based on my own collection of Big Boxes. A retirement project!
