Continuing my peek at GI Joe/ Action Man's other job, posing for Curtis Books, here we have him modelling his runabout, the Space Capsule, on When Two Worlds Meet.
The scale of the figure and the spacecraft seems out to me. What do you think?
Accurate scale vehicles could be an issue for 1/6 sacle figures such as Action Man or Joe, Woodsy. The Capsule is an example of this; while other vehicles, like the racing car and landrover were more in scale. Nonethesless a lovely toy which is difficult to find with the flight handles still in place :)
Interesting Tone, about Accy scale. Just can't recall if I had the capsule. Dammit. Wish I could. Major Matt is getting in the way. I was surprised he never got a capsule like this. Little Big Man could have done with one too!
Waaay too small even for that figure. I always loved the old covers of SF and Fantasy books, and this one fits well
ReplyDeleteGlad you like it Ran. Do you have any old SF books to show on the blog?
