I thought this was unusual.
I saw it on Etsy.
Its a Snik Rakete.
Described as a Astro Sniks rocket, it was made in 1983 by Bully.
I'm assuming its from Germany as Rakete means Rocket in German.
The Astro Sniks are pictured on the rear. They remind me of Schlumpfies or Smurfs by Schleich. My daughter had some Smurfs and some very similar space figures from Ferraro chocolate from the 90's, little guys with helmets on. They could still be breathing attic air upstairs!
Anyone know about Astro Sniks?
Astrosniks were an attempt by Bully to emulate the success of the Smurfs/Schtroumpfes esp in hoping to attract licencing revenue. Which appears to've worked reasonably well for a while, but hasn't seemed to last. Smurfs are still going strong of course, starting out around 1960 in very popular comic strips by Peyo which created a solid base for their lasting licensing success.

That's really interesting Paul. Wiki says that they're highly collectable. I will have to look out for them at Flohmarkte in Germany this summer! I do get the word Astrosnik mixed up with Astro Nits the rubber monsters, which we've talked about many times on MC.
