I had this version of the Corgi Centurion Tank as a kid. Great to see it here, battling the invading Martians. I like both your movie manta Martian and the Tripod, Kevin. Great models, great diorama, great Sci fi :)
Alas, mine didn't survive... but these pics have put a smile on my face, seeing a veteran Centurion standing its ground against the advancing Martians. Kinda makes me think of the Thunderchild. Well done :)
The 1953 film adaptation is the best one IMO. Neither Sherman nor Centurion tanks could make a dent in those "protective blisters." "Guns, tanks, bombs, they're like toys against them."
