Its a lovely little thing which comes as a kit, I don't know who made it as I don't read Japanese, and there's no company logo, and as it came unopened in a clear polythene bag there's no clue there.
It's obviously a simple little kit to glue together. It has it's own launch pad with a little blockhouse.
All you do is flick the lever on the side, which releases the spring-loaded toy, and then watch it disappear behind the couch!
To show how small it is here's a fifty pence coin for comparison.
It reminds me of those little Thunderbird kits that came free with Sugar Smacks or Smiths Crisps.
It's modern equivalent would something like a Kinder egg toy, so, assuming it never had any other printed packaging, I'm thinking it was something that was given out in a gumball machine or something like that.
Of course,I wouldn't be surprised if some of will be able to identify it instantly, though.
Ever resourceful Woodsy, also dug out an appropriate card for me too. Okay, its for a two-year old (what's your point? I hear you lot say!) but it does have a little Thunderbird 3 toy perched in the corner.
Cheers Woodsy, and thanks to everyone else who took the trouble to do me special cards and also wish me happy birthday. I really do appreciate it folks.
Glad you liked it Mike!
