The Autumn months with their earthy colours and uncharacteristically sunny days are fast becoming a favourite time of year for me. Whereas Summer with the heat and sunshine is a time to be looked forward to from the beginning and the end of the year, Autumn always seemed to be just Winters waiting room, as nature prepared for the long sleep through the cold. But lately, I am finding that flowers and plants are lasting much longer into the year and colour is still flourishing as October approaches.
With a fine sunny day available and the garden peaceful and quiet, I took the opportunity to pop out with the camera and a handful of small toys, to enjoy the scenery. The birdbath with its murky water provided a great backdrop to a flotilla of tiny boats and the mossy brickwork, the ideal backdrop for some miniature toys.
Gorgeous pictures those Bill. You wouldn't know they were in the garden. Your'e slowly converting me to the appeal of Kinder toys!
ReplyDeleteYou'll want to watch that, Woodsy.
ReplyDeleteMy boys liked Lego Bionicle when it first came out, and so did Bill. Who passed his collecting bug of it on to me, and before I knew it I had several moving boxes full of the stuff.
At least Kinder toys are small!
Best -- Paul
No, not been bitten by Bionicle yet Paul. I'm trying to de-clutter the house so I had better keep away from the stuff!
