I often wonder what the Project SWORD Annual front cover would have looked like of there had been two astronauts on the cover and not just one. What would the previous shot have been like or indeed the subsequent one?
Taking some classic space art and merging it with the SWORD Annual I can sort of see what if.
There's a story hiding behind that visor on the cover. I wonder what artist Renato Fratini had in mind, if indeed it was Renato?
Anyone else's cover stories and art welcomed. Maybe even a SpaceX Annual Cover!
Oh, A SpaceX Annual would have been brilliant!
ReplyDeleteOn Christmas morning, mum always told us which present were our slippers and our annuals to open first, as she must have considered them the least exciting presents!
After Christmas dinner and before the big film came on, I would be eating chocolates or feeling very grown up eating liqueurs, as my new train set went whizzing around the Christmas tree taking much needed fuel to my Moon Grabber that was residing in its box undergoing much needed maintenance....
Oh happy days! lol
Reading the SpaceX annual in the intervening time, I meant to add!
