As an adjunct to the post, ive added a second moonless shot, the camera is a digital slr with a multitude if settings. One such us the Night capture setting. This is ideal for long exposures, but demands a tripod.
Using this for the first time a month ago, it caught passing traffic leaving wonderful coloured streaks from the head and taillights. Needs refinement to use it practically, but the high colour under the sodium arc street lamps and the red streak reminds me of Task Force One flashing past!
Got photos comin' your way of the desert moon. What a coincidence. We were up nefore 5AM and were already tasking pics, then continued at night to take more
ReplyDeleteThat's what it's all about, Bill and Ed, seizing that moment. In the past I've set myself up to take a pic or two of the Moon only to find huge thick clouds appearing from nowhere.
ReplyDeleteI didnt have the benefit of the tripod this time, as id put it in the attic the week before - doh!
ReplyDeleteMaybe some photos taken during the Ghosts of Mars story did come out after all!
