Late summer fine weather here in the UK is drawing me away from the new Laptop! I will be signing off for a few days to visit family and friends. Before I go here are a few recent pickings from googleland. Blog readers Sean and Ferryman introduced me to the toy makers MEREHALL and TELSADA recently (some interesting stuff on this coming in September) and I have just come across JIMSON too. Above is an auction house listing of a Jimson friction powered Tank - green, 14cm, Merehall 6-wheeled Anti Tank Missile Launchers, one dark green and one desert sand - both launchers are 13cm (Vectis).
More Jimson and Telsalda plastic listed on auction: 21cm Desert Patrol Armoured Car, 18cm camouflage Tank, 13cm 4-wheel green Armoured Rocket Launcher, together with Telsalda Desert Patrol Rocket Tank, 13cm (Vectis).
Here's a nice Raphael Lipkin PULL-APART Landrover. Lipkin was the owner of PIPPIN, who teamed-up with ROVEX TR-IANG and made the Spacex II range (Vectis)
I had to laugh when I saw this - it's like a SWORD Space Glider that's been in a crusher! The HUKI LUNAR JET (from the wonderful Alphadrome site).
And finally LUNIK 2000. I first came acroos this range in Toni Emchowiz's fabulous book FUTURE TOYS. Here's the space car (pictured again on the excellent Alphadrome).
How large is the LUNIK 2000? The pilot looks rather like a Cherilea spaceman, although it doesn't appear to be any of the actual Cherilea poses. So ...

(2) If yes, was it copied from the Cherilea spacemen? Does anyone have a close-up picture?
(3) Am I just going crazy?
Off the top of my head, I think the original Cherilea spacemen were 60mm
Can't really answer these Philo Toad. I haven't got one myself. There's one for sale in Italy on Ebay - very expensive. May help.
