Blimey, I so recall this rubber frog idling online. I had so many rubber animals and insects as a kid. Frogs, snakes, tons of snakes, crabs, ants, flies, centipedes and even a severed hand!
I can still feel the waxy surface of them and deep oily smell.
Happy rubbery days!
Did you have any?
Radio, TV and Comics Character rings have always fascinated me. They just look so good and common ones can be found relatively cheaply. The hobby also includes some of the most valuable comic character collectables in the world. Needless, to say, I don't have any of those!
Awhile back I blogged a collection box I saw on Worthpoint and today I had a crack at replicating - sort of - the box with one of my own ensembles. A bit of ring fun, mine includes home-made stuff and family heirlooms (none valuable) to make up the general look. See what you think.

My attempt at a similar look
Here's another shot of all my toy rings minus the heirlooms. My favourite is the green Superman Kryptonite ring - second column left, bottom one - which Santa delivered last Christmas.
