Ed's Blue Task Force 1 and More Blue Toys

Here's a few shots of my metallic blue Task Force 1.

As well, I have several military pieces made by MPC for their series of 60mm ringhand soldiers.

The blue vehicles were often paired with MPC metallic blue Russians (which I don't have), as well as their space sets. However, MPC being what it was, one could find them in just about any set.

The Marx Sikorsky CH-37 Mojave Helicopter came with or without a winch.

Perry Rhodan Thunderbirds Covers

 I picked these up last year in Germany, old Perry Rhodan comics. Interestingly the cover artists have included Thunderbirds 1 and 3 in the artwork. They really do get everywhere!

I imagine Thunderbirds 2 and 4 are out there somewhere on Perry Rhodan covers too.

I know there's a Project SWORD Nuclear Ferry on one. I've seen it. 

Again, of interest, this comic is the longest running sci-fi comic in the world!

T Time: Terranova47's Model T Money Box

Hello Woodsy

Back in 2020 when during lock down I was unearthing money boxes, the unconsciously collected collection, I mentioned a Model T Ontario Van money box.

Well here it is, found last month!

As there's been a small debate amongst a couple of the regular Blog commenters and myself about the Imperious Leader's mysterious head adornment, which I thoroughly enjoyed by the way on my Battlestar Galactica action figures post, I thought I'd see what he might have looked without . But knowing there's a few of you on here who like to take the mickey, let's see what funny lines you can come up with for this.

HEADING TO BREAKAWAY DAY

 As Space: 1999 fans head towards Breakaway day next weekend, here's some photos I found on eBay of the old Italian Spazio 1999 board game which I've only ever seen on display at conventions, and wouldn't mind adding to the collection.

Ed's Buck Rogers Galactic Play Set

I set up my HG Toys No. 892 BUCK ROGERS in The 25th Century Galactic Play Set to see how big a space the whole thing takes. 

The pieces take up all of a 30" (76.2cm) x 40" (101.6cm) piece of black foamcore. Looking at the setup also gave me ideas for future photo shoots.

 I think I need to make a base scenicked in light brown / caramel brown ground cover, vs. the black as shown in the photos. It's a busy little set with a lot going on, so any future photo shoots will utilize far less pieces. 

The backdrop graphics are designed to be displayed in a semi-circular fashion but I think placing them in a linear fashion would work better. 

Anywho, those are all projects for another day.
