What was your favourite TV show?

I've been thinking about this. It's not an easy question. It changes as I consider it, as my memory revs up. 

One day it's Thunderbirds and those fabulous vehicles, another it's Scooby Do and those wonderful monsters and another it's Blue Peter, with something new all the time. There are many more contenders too.

Do you have this dilemma readers? What was your favourite kids TV show in your part of the world?

Here's my bendies. 

I am not at all a fan of pliable/bendable soft plastic figures but have acquired these over the years. The green alien has a wire armature in him, while the Colourform repo's are just a pliable soft plastic. The flippy-floppy Diener stuff I sold off years ago.

Kevin's Evertime Space Watch

Hi,

I have been searching for one of these for years and finally ebay came good. I had one of these watches when I was about 12.

I also think that the watch that came with the Spacex 2 LEM was the same as this, I know that was a Newmark watch but the graphic is identical.

On the LEM gift set box, it refers to a sweep module. That is what this watch has, the second hand is in the form of a clear disc with an Apollo csm on it that goes round once a minute!

An ICBM under the Floor!

Hello,

Attached a couple of photos of an empty box for an Atlas space rocket, which I bagged from a Finnish auction site Tori.fi. 

After purchase the seller told me that it was found under the floor of they house during renovation. And the house was originally built in 1951!

According to internet hits it seems to be quite scarce. Shame that the rocket has not survived, but the box has great graphics for display.

Is this something you have seen before?

Being in the beautiful Peak district National Park is putting me in mind for all things Tolkien.

The woods, the valleys, the rocky edifices, I can well imagine the Rohirrim chasing Wargs right through them! 

With Middle Earth in mind, this week I'm hoping to acquire a cassette box set of the 1981 BBC radio production of Lord of the Rings, which I heard at the time and have hankered after ever since. My Precious! 

Do you recall the radio serial readers? What were you doing in 1981?
