Following on from my last post about the corgi rocket sky Park, here are three more battery operated garages. 

The first one always reminds me of the vertical parking garage in Thunderbirds. It’s the closest I found to it. 

The Matchbox auto park I’ve always liked because of the box art. The last one is again a vertical park, just a cheaper version.

There's some interesting bits n bobs on this old vending card I saw online. Mid-left there's our old mate the coned LP alien with his raised hand. Why does he do that? Is he asking a question or just saying hello?

MADHELLS KENN IS OVER THE MOON: LEWIS' CUSTOM FIGURES COME ALIVE!

Kenn's solitary Lunar bliss was short-lived. Mission Control had always worried Kenn wasn't "manly enough" for the job, so they sent him a supervisor. 

This is Super-brain Simian Scopes, the talking Chimpanzee with helpful space phrases like "It's hard to believe you evolved from me!"(Toy not for sale in some places)

Unfortunately Kenn's life is about to get a lot worse, the Soviets have just landed too!

Mission Control panics, knowing a monkey can't handle Kenn in this situation. "Hey! I'm an Ape, not a Monkey! Can't you even get that right?" Meet Scopes' replacement, Colonel Col Colton, All American jock. He's manly enough and Kenn is already feeling like he's back in High School.

1) Meet manly Col Colton's even manlier Ossie Pal, Ches T. Bond. Harold Holt's Australian on the Moon. Ches is SO manly, his party trick is taking off his pressure helmet in a total vacuum. "So? It hasn't hurt me yet!"

2) Unfortunately Ches has a surprise visitor, it's Next-door Neighbor Noreen. She's come to show him her new baby, Chester Junior...

"Do you like the bonzer sand castle we just built? Say hello to Daddy..."

3) And Ches' life is becoming even more unfortunate as Mrs. Beryl Bond has turned up with her rolling pin to emphasise just how unimpressed she is with his manly ways...

4) Kenn is glad someone else is on the receiving end for a change, but that isn't going to last.

Barbey has just landed to check on how he's doing and she tears him a new one about how he lets other people push him around.

THE 1983 ACTION FORCE SKYSTRIKER

 I've enjoyed cleaning up my new 1983 Action Force Skystriker found at the boot sale this morning.

Its come up nicely and the removal of old glue and missing sticker residue has worked well. I used some hand sanitiser to do this and it worked a treat.

A stuff wet brush and water got into the nooks and crannies and a pin helped with the grime stuck in many of the plastic grooves.

Its not complete with its tailfins and missiles missing and some of the decals but this version 1 British release of the Hasbro jet looks pretty darn sleek.

Here it is ready for duty in the garden.

Chuck Norris Found Me!

Today's car boot haul wasn't bad but I had to pay more than usual. Prices are going up, to me a sign of harder times.

Anyways, there's an Action Force Skystriker from the 80's £8, a Sunco? Knockoff Transformer £5, a He Man style wrestler - Chuck Norris?, an unidentified female and two small wrestlers, £2 the four.

THE BLAKES' 7 STAR TREK BLUE BOX SHUTTLEPOD: A COSMIC COINCIDENCE?

Hi,

As seen on MC, I posted a picture of my Blake's 7 Cosmic Strikeforce spaceship on the Replica Props Forum.

Someone said it looked like the shuttlepod from Star Trek Enterprise. I've not seen it but nabbed these images from a Google search. It really does!

ASSAULT ON SPACE PRECINCT

 

I'm always amazed about what get's knocked off. You have to have a degree of success as a toy line to even bother knocking it off.

This Space Police bootleg took me by surprise then [who is it meant to be?]. I never realised that its inspiration, Space Precinct, the Gerry Anderson TV show from the mid-90's, was that big and its toy line warranting knockoffs like this.

I still see loads of loose Space Precinct figures at car boot sales but I've never seen this bootleg.
