T in a Circle Children's Driver

In the blog's ongoing mission to catalogue T in a Circle toys [Tai Hing] here's another one. We've seen the space shuttle toy before, number 511, just not children's driver the box.

Looking at the cover I think the wrong toy is in this box.

MATCHBOX ALVIS STALWART

Another of my Matchbox toys, this time the Alvis Stalwart with original box, and those familiar BP decals seen on many Matchbox toys.

WILL OS'S FABULOUS STINGRAY FROM GOLDEN WONDER

I Had a nice little pick up the other day. A complete run of TV21 from 1 to 242. Going through them I’m finding some tie-ins with some of my stuff.

This one is the Lilo Stingray swim ring from Golden Wonder crisps.

Were they available in the shops too or just the promotion?

Also possibly blogworthy, I've finally finished my Spy Hat Adventures. Here are Mike Hazard and Jane Apollo in their final display box fully accessorized with a childhood tin toy vehicle beneath them!

The blue cabinet is a personal reference to Fantasia Toy Shop in Richmond where I first saw Mike Hazard in the window! Now he's behind glass again, but he's also mine all mine!

Very difficult to take pictures through closed glass!

KEVIN'S MOEBIUS FANTASTIC VOYAGER

Here's a bit of an obscure one.

The Voyager, from the animated series of Fantastic Voyage. I remember watching it at the time and I always liked the design of their vessel. This is the Moebius reissue of the Aurora kit.

Matchbox Ford Group 6 - The Purple One!

At a recent fair in Auckland I spotted a loose Matchbox Superfast Ford Group 6 racing car in metallic purple, which I snapped up.

It joins the dark green and lime green versions I already have, one of which I used to drive around the carpet over 50 years ago.

Actually, it is more of a purplish-red. It has a white interior, slightly yellow-tinted windows, chrome engine and rear exhausts, and black baseplate. Race number 45 on the nose.
