According to an old auction site the toy rifle Sound of Action is by Tarheel!

Its probably Johnny Tarheel but if anyone has any further info I would be pleased to hear from you!

WHAT WAS YOUR PARENTS' CAR?

I've just watched a brilliant TV programme called Car SOS. They did up an old rotting Ford Cortina Mark III for a guy, who was totally bowled over with the results.

It got me thinking what car or cars my Dad and Mum [Mum didn't drive] had back in the day. The last one I remember was a white Triumph Dolomite in the Seventies. I recall it had an overdrive button on top of the gearstick. The reg started with EBU. It was a nice car.

What car or cars did your folks have readers?

WAS THE DINKY FAB1 USED IN THUNDERBIRDS?

 Looking at this famous shot of Derek Meddings and the Fireflash [courtesy of lester demon nl] I can see various die-cast toy vehicles just below the control tower [what can you see?]

Seeing Derek and knowing he designed FAB1 I've wondered whether the Dinky FAB1 die-cast was ever used in Thunderbirds TV series or films?

Does anyone know?

MODEL TANKS AT THE BOVINGTON MUSEUM

Hi

                 The British Tank Museum at Bovington has another model video out. It is stunning. Most are professionally made models. Some are part of the design process, some presentation pieces, recognition models, and the like. 

There is a large scale WW1 tank painted in a proposed dazzle camouflage scheme - painting it must have taken forever, never mind painting a much larger real tank. This is one of the best videos the Tank Museum has ever done.
