SPACEX LOT WINTER 2021

I saw this neat bundle on Ebay last year and saved the pics.

I like the white chinook with double P3 rotors! I think its a Golden Wings toy. These are covered in detail on Paul V's cool SpaceX site http://www.triangspacextoys.info/SpGAderv/OTHR/OTHR/GWngCptr.html

Interesting that the Chinook is with all this SpaceX. I wonder of they were always together since the Seventies or is this a bundle put together just for Ebay?

I like that little silver space car top right. What's that anyone?

THE TWO COLOURS OF TASK FORCE TWO

 

I saw these two old Century 21 Toys Project SWORD Task Force 2's on Worthpoint and thought I'd blog the image.

Its a good example of both the body colour variation and the base colour variation too. 

The base can be red or white.

The body can be two shades of red, one darker than the other.

SLIM PICKINS DOWN DONNY CAR BOOT

The merest of meagre nets from this Sunday's car boot at Doncaster.

A plastic garage for Junior and a few die-casts for moi including a Super Kings Fire Helicopter.

As my TIMESLIP post appears to have proved popular here's a look a some of the cuttings I saved from Look -In that I decided not to use in my original article.

WHEN THE WINDSCREEN MELTS ITS TIME FOR A BEER

In my quest to patch-up Superfast cars I recently made things worse for one vehicle, a Porsche painted black all over by its previous owner.

To remove the black paint I placed it in a bath of turps.

 

I forgot that the turps would melt the windscreen too, which it did and the windows just poured out like honey when I got it out! Doh!

The windowless Porsche was nevertheless promptly painted midnight metallic blue, along with this Corgi car.

I left one door as it was on the Porsche as a reminder of its history.

This lovely bronze Superfast racer came my way for touching-up too. 

This is before I got my orange pen out.

and after.

Now the work station is ready for another car.

I may try this red Corgi.

But perhaps not continue painting it orange! Yuk!

Metallic silver might be the chosen hue.

MYSTERY DINNER SERVICE

 

Me and the Missus picked these plates and bowls up in a Selby Charity shop here in Yorkshire in the UK at the weekend.

We thought they looked cute and could maybe come from a cruise ship or a hotel.

There's nothing stamped on the base, just the lovely decoration around the top edge with its distinctive opposing T-type motif.

Anyone any idea where they might be from?
