Will Osborne's Toys, TV21's and Gerry Anderson Autographs

Hi Woodsy. 

First picture is a few bits and bobs Mail always, give aways and a few other bits and pieces. 

The second picture is TV 21 number one signed by Gerry Anderson, Alan Fennell Who was the editor and Arthur "Wag" Evans who was the model maker of the stingray. 

The third picture is signed by Scott carpenter who as well as being the inspiration for Scott Tracy was also an aquanaut just like Troy Tempest. 

The fourth and fifth pictures are signed TV 21s but also signed JR 21 toys. 

The Sixth picture is the Tracey boys signed by their corresponding astronauts.

BATTERY OPERATED JOE'S CAR CENTURY 21 TOYS

A few old photos I took way back in 2014 of my C21 battery operated Joe 90 Car. The toy is pretty much exactly the same as the friction drive version, apart from a remote control forward and reverse action, and illuminated head lamps. It's another of those hugely sought after Anderson toys, but to my mind it's not particularly accurate, and generally a bit cheap looking, especially when it comes to the wheel struts and the wheels, themselves.Saying that it can look appealing at certain angles. The Sugar Smacks mailaway version is considered a fairly accurate representation, but you'd still expect Century 21 Toys to come up with the proper goods. It has spring out wings, and slide back fins, even the squat Joe 90 is wearing his glasses. Still, In spite of that, I'm glad to have it part of my collection.

MYSTERY PLASTIC TOY TUBE: HELP!

 I found this odd blue transparent tube in a bag of old army soldiers and thought, hmm, what's that? The soldiers were cheap unbranded GI Joe/ The Corps clones with a few branded Chap Mei.

Anyone any idea what it is? I haven't. Its a few centimetres tall with nodules on top.

2001 SPACE STATION DOCKING HUB PROP

A couple of fascinating photos that have surfaced on line showing what is apparently the restored docking hub from the original 8' Space Station prop from 2001:A Space Odyssey. The rest of the original prop was photographed a few years after the film was made, showing it unceremoniously dumped on a rubbish tip. Prior to that, this middle section had supposably been removed and rescued, and is now in the hands of a private collector, who has had it professionally restored.
