This is the sparkly opening title to one of my fave horror films and an absolute Yuletide staple for me, Black Christmas.
Made in 1974 its one of the earliest proper slasher films and stars Olivia Hussey and Keir Dullea of Space Odyssey fame. John Saxon takes a brilliant turn as the beleaguered local Detective too.
The movie's opening titles beautifully capture the essence of the dark Christmas winter with its blurred fairy lights and distant caroling inside the house.
The festive season is however rudely interrupted as baubles are smashed and pianos are thrashed.
This is probably 'coals to Newcastle' but I found some of my old toy catalogues at the weekend while looking for plastic spacemen. Here are scans relevant to your recent posts.
