TV21 ARTIST PAUL McCAFFREY BIRTHDAY QUIZ

To celebrate the Blog's Sixth Birthday, Paul McCaffrey, the new TV21 SWORD illustrator, will be kindly giving away a signed copy of The Last Days of Man, a comic illustrated by Paul and written by Paul Scott, pictured above.

To win this signed comic all you have to do is tell us the names and colours of the Ideal Zeroids that both Paul and me, Woodsy, had as kids - in different parts of the UK! So, that's two different Zeroids.

You must name which each of us had and name US TOO. Come up with the right combination of Zeroid/ colour/ Paul and Zeroid/ colour/ Woodsy, get it first in the comments and you've won!

SIXTH BIRTHDAY EXCLUSIVE OFFER: FURTHER DETAILS

This is a graphic mock up of the new cool Blog Birthday Exclusive. On the finished product the painted Salvage Craft will be encased in a transparent plastic blister window glued to the laminated card. The toy itself is made of resin and measures around 1 inch long and three quarters of an inch wide. As such, the backing card is smaller than a normal SpaceX I card.

The offer is limited to just five pieces and will be restricted to one per buyer. Sample photos, exact measurements, price and how to order will be announced later this week. Watch this Space-X!

MOONBASE CENTRAL EXHIBITION POSTER FOR OUR 1006th BIRTHDAY!

I went to a cool exhibition about the Sixties in Leeds at Leeds City Museum at the weekend. Leeds was the home of Waddingtons games amongst others. The poster for the exhibition got me thinking.... what would a SWORD and SPACEX exhibition poster look like? So on our Sixth Birthday, here's a first attempt dated today in the next Millennium, so no-one thinks its real! Your posters welcomed too as always!

Dear Moonbase Readers

I'm a relative newcomer to the worlds of Project SWORD and Spacex but Moonbase Central has rapidly become one of my favourite blogs - and biggest internet distractions! I've seen so many cool toys here – items I owned but lost, items I wanted but never had and even more items I never even knew existed. 

With the honour – and responsibility – of being the first artist to depict the TV21 world of Project SWORD since 1969*, Woodsy and his blog have been an invaluable resource... and he's also solved a couple of personal toy-related mysteries for me, too.
