The Grandkids have gone home but not without leaving us their creations by both Little Miss and Junior Moonbases.
Basic lego house, Shogun van, Lilo and Stitch mobile, Where's Wally Car and Plex plax tower.
Little Miss Moonbase also put together this gorgeous mini teddy bear bedroom for three bears.

I love seeing kids doing stuff for themselves! I was just helping my grand niece and nephew make costumes for Book Week.
ReplyDeleteLast year I ended up doing it for them, but this year I decided they were going to do it for themselves!
They acquitted themselves magificently!

DeleteThey went as a dragon and a cartoon Police Dog. As we started, I wanted Josh to cut out the cardboard for his mask. He said "I don't want to do that, because I'm not very good at it."
DeleteI encouraged him to do it and he was actually pretty good, he just wouldn't allow himself to try.
If I've learnt one thing in later life, it's that we often don't do things we think we might fail at.
The actual doing, is where the creativity and adventure step in...
It is good to see a new generation of modelling and Moonbase fans joining our ranks, and becoming regular contributors. Well done to both. Love the Teddies.
