Thanx to Paul Adams in NZ for putting me on to this Flintstones Hot Wheels Monster Truck.
At first, I wasn't going to get one but then figured it would be a nice companion piece to my Hot Wheels Batman Monster Truck.
This one comes with a crushed car which can be combined to make obstacles with other crushed cars in the series.

ReplyDeleteThank you. Hot Wheels are now doing a lot of Star Cars as Monster Trucks. There have even been some Barbie Monster Trucks. All great fun, even if they are not Screen Accurate.
ReplyDeleteI guess the original Flintstones monster truck was the big dino that pebbles rode. Can't remember it's name!
ReplyDeleteProbably their pet, Dino (who in Flintstones lore is a 'Snorkasaurus'). Speaking of names, did you know Fred's crane at the quarry (seen in the closing credits) was named Mildred?
DeleteWas he called Dino Ed? I've seen a big Marx toy version of it with Pebbles or Bam Bam sat on top. Such a cool toy.
DeleteWoodsy I sent you an e-mail with attachment. I don't recall seeing a Marx toy with Pebbles or Bamm-Bamm riding Dino, but I used to have the large Marx dinosaur crane with Fred on top.
