Monstrous Movie Music


I saw these amazing CDs for sale, all monster and sci-fi movie themes.

I assume they're copies of much older LP records. 

Does anyone know?

    Monstrous Movie Music is/was a company started about twenty years ago by David Schecter (sic?), an entertainment lawyer who wanted to preserve as many old monster movie soundtracks as he could locate. This involved going through studio archives and composers' personal collections to gather the music tracks and remaster them for audio CD. A great project, and I used to own many of these; the soundtracks to The Brain From Planet Arous and The Blob being my favorites. If those are reasonable, you should get them - a great trip down memory lane! SFZ
