It's true, I love this car.
It's UFO, Blade Runner and ASTRO1 rolled into one.
The boot is a triangle.
It has everything all my coolest Superfast and Hot Wheels had.
And you sit in a cockpit.
Hot Wheels saw the light.
The Lancia Stratos.
Forget everything else.
What do you think readers?
What's your dream car?

My dream car would be the 1955 Lincoln Futura, which later became the TV Batmobile.
ReplyDeleteYes, now that's a car Paul. I wonder how many are left?
DeleteOnly one Lincoln Futura was built, and that was turned in to the TV Batmobile, so the answer to how many are left is - none. But full-size replicas have been made. I still want one.
DeleteJust a '60s E type Jag.
ReplyDeleteOr, as a close second, Bond's Aston Martin DB5.
And I'm not a car guy !
Wow, two classics Mush. Me too! I often wonder which is more famous, the Bond Aston or the Batmobile. What do you think?
DeleteMush! Sorry, Mish!
DeleteAlfa Carabo (still got my Matchbox toy) or Tony Curtis's red Ferrari Dino 246GT from tne Persauders.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, the Carabo and I e got my Matchbox too Yorkie. I must look up the Ferrari Dino. Gerry Anderson was involved in that show wasn't he or am I thinking of something else?
DeleteYou're thinking of 'The Protectors' Woodsy, starring Robert Vaughn.
ReplyDeleteOf course! Thanks Mish! Doh!
DeleteI loved the Lamborghini Contach I had as a Matchbox toy as a kid, with its big glass sides.
ReplyDeleteStrangely, not really being a car person, my dream car would be a Citroen Traction Avant. I just love that styling!
Is that the same as the Lamborghini Marzal Looey?
