As a point of interest, I did have a check to see what tantive meant, and the nearest real words I can find are 'tantivy' meaning to gallop or hunting cry and 'tantara' meaning the blare of a trumpet!
I tend to think of Lego as a perfect reflection of modern visual effects... No matter how nice the model, it's still made of Lego. No matter how impressive digital imagery is, it's still made of pixels! Why, in my day, (RESPONSE SHORTENED FOR BREVITY)
That's a very interesting analogy, Lewis , and I tend to agree to some extent. Lego (and Betta Builder which I had as a youngster) are great educational toys for children, but a lot of the large Lego sets are now aimed solely at adults, especially Marvel and Star Wars products.
