Back in the days before home printing, when people still wrote letters by hand, I used to buy sci-fi stationary at conventions. Can't remember anything in particular though. I would've loved a pencil box like that when I was a kid.
I used to go to cons for Trek, Sci-fi & fantasy, horror, gaming and "comics" (which were really about everything). Whatever was in the NYC area, although I also went west to Chicago and south to Baltimore. I kept busy!

DeleteA great pencil box. Alas, I have nothing like that.
ReplyDeleteMine were mostly Oxford geometry sets in a tin Paul! Quite boring!
DeleteI used to have a Tardis pencil case (which didn't hold as much as it might if Gallifreyans had made it).
ReplyDeleteBum bum!
DeleteFrom the "streamlined" era of spaceship design, my favorite, SFZ
