I took a fair number of photos at Smallspace 12, that took place last Sunday in Hanslope Village Hall, so I’ll have to spread these over a few posts.
.Andy’s painstaking attention to detail is exceptional, with an impressive pearlescent paint scheme.
Another favourite is Andy’s SPV, based on a Studio 2 model. This time it was parked next to a studio scale model Explosives Truck seen in the episode, Fire at Rig 15.
A large display of excellent replica puppet figures, made by Vaughan Herriott, and owned by Paul Stroud ticked the Thunderbirds box.
David has illuminated the inside with some Christmas lights, and some of the light in the windows have been diffused with bits of old film strip. It’s difficult to identify any of the images, although You can see the number 4 in some, and possibly the Houses of Parliament.
Mega-modeller, Richard Ashton displayed some finely detailed scratch-built models
Our very own blog contributor, Kevin Davis had a display too, promoting the Hyde Fundraisers he’s been a member of many years.
We got Mike Tucker to take a photo of Kevin, with myself, and Alan Marshall, better known on the blog of course, as Mish.
Not to be left out there was plenty of models showing the Apollo/Soyuz test project, along with other space related models!.
And no Smallspace would be complete with out Daleks!
The red movie Dalek built by John Kelly
The grey Dalek built by Iain McDonald
The dark grey Dalek built by Ian Robinson
And what I describe as in a gunmetal colour, but am reliably informed is known as Dalek Dominic was built by Andrew Wilkinson.
Great to see the pics, especially Vaughans huge range of puppet replicas, many thanks
ReplyDeleteHappy to show them. More tomorrow.
DeleteA great photo record of the event Scoop, as ever.
ReplyDeleteReally good to see you again, and even better to meet Kevin there, this time, as well !
A fine day all round really.
