Not toys related I know but it was such a massive part of my youth and heavy metal has lost its greatest co-founder today.
Ozzy has sadly passed away aged 76.
The master of metal made it for one last farewell Sabbath gig last month in his home city of Birmingham.
The pearly gates will damn well fly off thier hinges when Ozzy rocks up.
Deepest Condolences to the Osborne family, the kids, Ozzy's friends and all my fellow heavy metal fans.
🤘
Fortunate enough to have seen him twice in the early 80’s. 🤟
ReplyDeleteFab stuff Dave.
DeleteRip Ozzy 🤟
ReplyDeleteI did see Black Sabbath live in the early 80s, but Ozzy had been 'sacked' from the band and replaced by Ronny James Dio, by then, so I never saw him perform.
ReplyDeleteWere they good Mish?
DeleteDifficult to say really, as it wasn't my kind of music. I just went along with some mates.
ReplyDeleteWhat it was, was LOUD.
I mean REALLY LOUD !
So loud, in fact, that the St John's Ambulance crew were stretchering people out of the hall with concussion.
