This solar lamp was outside our rural caravan in Spring.
As soon as I saw it I thought of that old US Transogram board Game with the big orb, Ka-Bala!
Not a game I e ever seen in the flesh but it spoke to a whole generation of Sixtie's American kids. Literally!
Such a cool game. Have you got one?
Similarly, this little fellow reminded me of that other big spooky Transogram game ...
..... Green Ghost!
Another fantastic looking game!
Did you have any Transogram games or toys readers?
Amazingly you can get a miniature of the Green Ghost game, among many others, on Etsy.
How have they done that? It's so darn coooool!
Good Grief - that green eyeball would give me nightmares. As I have always said, some of the sickest minds on the planet are to be found in the toy industry.
ReplyDeleteThat reminds me of the spooky eyeball in a tree stump spaceship, of the Invaders from the Fifth Dimension in Lost In Space...
ReplyDeleteNever heard of the Ka-bala game, but it gave me one hell of a laugh! And to think the bible-thumpers went crazy about ouija boards! Oh also, the comic mentions the delicious "taro" cards (snicker). OTOH, I'd heard of the Green Ghost game; never saw one though. I played Which Witch, does that count?
