My two Corgi Buck Rogers in the 25th Century Starfighters.
Obviously, Corgi had to make the pointed noses safe for kids.
Sadly my missiles, Buck and Twiki figures are long gone from the larger version, but at least I've retained the backing card for the smaller one.

Thanx for this Scoop! The hunt is on! haha
ReplyDeleteWhatever the opinion on the series, these are nice nostalgic additions to the collection. I should get round to tracking down the missing figures, and pick up a replica box for the larger toy.
DeleteVery cool toys!

A couple of years ago I managed to pick up a carded miniature fighter and not too long afterwards one of the later Corgi box sets of the large and small version packaged together, near mint, for a fairly reasonable price. I hadn’t bothered when the series was on ( I had built the model kits ). I was turned off by the safety bar, but as an adult collector, I can forgive it now.
