Today I bagged a decent haul of cheap and interesting tat down at Fitzwilliam's bid Wednesday boot sale. Lots of vintage toys to be had along with knick knacks galore.
The 2005 Darth Vader Imperial Motorbike cleaned up well and once he got a DIY lightsaber in his mitt he was off!
A Bayko set, what a find. Is that a Hot Wheels I see ? You had a good day.
ReplyDeleteAre you referring to the yellow diecast? Do you know what it is?
DeleteJust a Bayko manual Paul. No set alas. The Hot Wheels us an Airport Fire Tender from the late 70's/ early 80s. It's in my old Hot Wheels reference book, so I recognized it.
DeleteA Ramtex alien invaders minus battery box cover would be cool if you can get it to work. I don't see the red fire button.
ReplyDeleteIt would. It's currently not working. I need to investigate further. The fire button is there, just not the red cover.
DeleteThe Hot Wheels is called Airport Rescue, from 1981. It was based on a real vehicle by Oshkosh.
ReplyDeleteThanks for that Paul. I thought Oshkosh was a kids clothing company!;
