Woodsy,
I added a new ray gun to the collection so as to be able to take my Remco helmet nerd pic. This one is a Razer Ray Gun made in China either in the late '80s or in the '90s - not sure which. The mechanism works but it has a crack in the housing.

I love that Razer Ed! Great find. PIFCO made an ace ray gun too, the Zeta Ray.
ReplyDeleteThanx Woodsy! As much as I like ray guns, I'm not sure that's a collecting rabbit hole I want to go down. Still, one or two more couldn't hurt, could it? LOL
DeleteThat is a really great looking ray gun, with a 1950s or 1960s look to it.
ReplyDeleteThanx Paul! It certainly has a nice retro look.
DeleteMemories! I think this is actually at least late 70s as my wife to be ( before I even knew her!) had one in that period. I've seen an old photo of her with it, wearing a rubber mask and a rayon cloak from the Melbourne World Science Fiction Convention.
ReplyDeleteShe days she used to use the sound it made to scare off Magpies!
This so reminds me of something Looey. Your wife at that early con wearing a mask with a ray gun. Did Forry Akkerman meet a girl like that?
