In the summer Wotan Bill donated some fine and memorable items to Moonbase from the Bradgate Little Big Man range.
Little Big Man was basically a smaller version of Action Man and had tons of clothes and uniforms just like his big brother. I really liked him back in the 1960's.
Not owning an original figure anymore, I deployed a similar sized Hornby Elm Elf*
Everything here is original LBM except for the grey rifle [I don't think] and the red top.
I don't know what the green ring is for.
This little Mountie is ready for some action and perhaps .... some shoes!
Did you have Little Big Man readers?

The green ring appears to be a belt of some kind but no idea to what. The grey rifle is a Browning Automatic Rifle in 1/6 scale. It should have an open bipod on it as well to be complete. No idea on the maker, I own one as well and all I can recall is buying it at a Zayre’s in a bag with a bunch of other guns and gear in it.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lance. I had thought the rind=g was the band around the mountie cap but its too small. I'll ask Bill. Maybe he remembers. The rifle was in two bits, which I glued back together. It looks and feels like a knockoff.
DeleteThe Browning is a ko, the real one is a bit larger and has a brown stock. Brown bags are saddlebags for the Mounties horse. Cant for the life of me recall what the green strap is. Could be a helmet chinstrap. Bill
DeleteThanks Bill.
DeleteI'm now thinking the green ring maybe a belt.
